Custom Gemological Microscope Options

Micro-Optics is proud to offer gemological microscopes for professional diamond graders, jewelers, and hobbyists. We supply custom configured, standard zoom, and simple stereo instruments, making our selection the broadest in the industry. Service plans are available, and loaner instruments are also available if you are having your current equipment repaired.

When building a custom gemological microscope, here are the different considerations you should keep in mind:

• Bases – do you prefer variable halogen or fiber-optic darkfield lighting?
• Optics – we are able to outfit with zooming heads by Zeiss, Olympus, Nikon, Leica, Meiji, Monolux and Motic. This offers a wide range of magnification and cost options for you to consider,
• Warranty and Service – bases come with a one-year limited parts and labor warranty, heads with a five-year limited warranty. Loaner instruments and service plans are also offered,
• Custom Modifications and Upgrades – we are able to upgrade lighting systems and optics in older machines, providing state of the art variable halogen illumination and fields of vision that are sharper and brighter than available in stock machines
