High Definition Microscope Camera

A high definition microscope camera for use in presentation and/or archival is a new and emerging technology. Micro-Optics is at the forefront, providing our customers with several solutions including high definition microscope cameras with capabilities to broadcast over a local network or the internet to remote locations.

Displaying and capturing at full 1080p resolution, our systems are virtually noise free and display eye popping clarity. Microscope floor stands are also available.

Jenoptik Cameras

Jenoptik is a leading manufacturer of digital imaging devices for use in research laboratories, universities and hospitals. Their Prog-Res family of cameras is based upon decades of experience developing and producing high end digital imaging solutions. Jenoptik cameras are easily integrated into laboratory settings, connecting easily to microscopes via C-mount. Computer connection is available for any operating system via a Firewire port.

Micro-Optics offers several different ProgRes models, including the C-series (C3, C5 and C7) and the CF Scan.

The C3, C5 and C7 are ideal for macro photography and microscopy, covering all routine applications in bright-field, dark-field and fluorescence microscopy. The series offers up to 7 megapixels of resolution in 36-bit color digitization.

The CF Scan is ideal for situations when high resolution and speed are essential, and it is suitable for each contrast method in light microscopy. The CF Scan generates images up to 4080 x 3072 pixels. Fourteen-bit digitalization located next to the camera’s sensor provides nuanced color and noise-free, high contrast images. Jenoptik Cameras’ ProgRes Capture software is included with the purchase of the microscope camera.
