About Micro-Optics Precision Instruments:

Micro-Optics, founded in 1978, is the only microscope sales and repair company located in New York City.  Serving a broad range of industries from educational to biomedical research, Micro-Optics represents ten (10) manufacturers of new instruments including ZEISS, MEIJI, MOTIC AND OLYMPUS.  Our extensive product base coupled with our knowledge of the workings of our offerings -- we repair these instruments and know first-hand their performance over time -- affords us the ability of providing our clients with instruments that uniquely fit their needs and budgets.

From A.O. to Zeiss, our pre-owned (used) microscopes and equipment routinely save our customers hundreds – if not thousands – of dollars on everything from classroom to research-grade instruments.  Always in perfect condition, Micro-Optics' gently used microscopes are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase.  We take microscopes in trade, sell on consignment and sell spare parts and accessories such as fiber-optic illuminators , stereo table and floor stands, objectives, and eyepieces.

Micro-Optics also specializes in digital microscopy.  We sell analog cameras, mechanical and electronic balances and spectrophotometers.  Our laboratory division sells slides, cover slips, immersion and refractive index oils, Kim-wipes, weigh boats and microscope bulbs.

And because we service the equipment we sell we have a unique perspective about the quality and durability of our products as well as competitive units. While our services and support are unparalleled, our prices are among the lowest in the industry.

We sell wholesale and retail precision instruments . We distribute and/or import twelve lines of new microscopes and sell pre- owned (used) instruments from every manufacturer.
